Audrey and Bobbie - Sunday's Belle Style File

Why wear a plain jacket when you can wear an Audrey?

This is more than just simple outerwear - the flared skirt and chunky collar makes it an outfit feature.

Worn over a favourite dress, pants or tights, it adds fun and twirl to the coldest days. The chunky collar can be turned up to act as a windbreaker, while front buttons or snaps make it warm and snug.

Audrey matches the season with the fabric used - heavy woollen blanket and flanellette lining for the coldest of days, with corduroy and cotton when only a light jacket is required. A mix of everything in between produces these stunning coats - light wools, brushed cottons and drills. Some Audrey's are even reversible to give you two jacket in one, with wool on one side and corduroy on the other.

Side pockets make it a practical wear for most versions - the tiniest jackets and reversible ones omit the pockets for a better finish.

Audrey has a fitted chest, so sizing up if many layers will be worn underneath is recommended. The cuffs can be turned up to show off the lining fabric.
